Tom Davis

Tom Davis is a Columbus (OH) musician who works primarily as a guitarist and bassist.  He performs and records in a variety of styles as both a bandleader and sideman throughout the US and UK, most regularly with local Columbus groups:  Vaughn Weister’s Famous Jazz Orchestra, Flogo Shaggins, Willie Nelson Mandela, Ray Massa’s Eurorhythms, Alex Burgoyne Quartet, Pete Mills B3 Quartet, Cap City Swing, and more.

He is currently a faculty member at the Capital University Conservatory of Music and The Columbus College of Art and Design.

Tom earned a MMus in Musicology from The University of Edinburgh in 2011, and a
BM in Jazz Studies from Capital University in 2006, where he studied guitar with Stan Smith.
